Challenge #48 - Anniversary

Happy 2nd Anniversary to Dies R Us!

Hello Everyone!  
I have SO MUCH exciting news to share with you today!  
As you can see it's the 2nd Anniversary of Dies R Us and we are thrilled to have you joining us.  Our wonderful design team members strive to inspire you challenge after challenge on using all those fabulous die sets available at our Dies R Us Store.  We can't thank you enough for all your support as well as returned inspiration!

In honor of our anniversary celebration we have a Surprise Guest Designer for the month of May!
This talented lady was a part of our very first DT here at the DRU Challenge Blog as well as a member of the DT at the DRU Inspiration Blog. Please extend a welcome back to . . .


AND . . .

We have TWO new members joining the Dies R Us DT.
The newest member of Design Team A is:
I have always enjoyed doing something with my hands so I have always done some sort of crafting, but when I retired I decided that I wanted to focus on hand-made cards. Then I discovered the wonderful world of card making tutorials on You Tube and was hooked. Friends and family enjoy the special cards I make for them so this has become a very rewarding hobby.

Since our second NEW DT MEMBER will be part of Team B, I think I'll keep you in suspense until our 15th of the month challenge. Surprises are always fun!!  LOL

Whew!  So Now . . . onto the challenge.

Challenge #47 - Black & White (accent color optional)

Hello Friends and Welcome Back!

Before I share the new challenge details with you,  I have some SAD NEWS and some HAPPY NEWS to share with you.  We sadly say good bye to two members our Dies R Us family.  GLENDA from Team A and SANDI LEE from Team B have stepped down.  As we all know life can get pretty crazy at times and these two wonderfully talented ladies have realized they needed to do some prioritizing.  We want to thank them for all their hard work and dedication to DRU and wish them everything wonderful in their crafting & personal lives.

Now for the happy news.  We have one new member joining us today and we will have two more new ladies joining up at the beginning of May ... I will introduce you to those two ladies on our May 1st challenge.  But for today,  I'd like to introduce you to our newest design team member.  Please extend a warm welcome to Joann Williams.


Hi I'm Jo! I live in New Jersey, USA, right off the beach... I am a mixed media artist, designer, paper craft artist and blog journalist. I have been in the arts and crafts for the past 18 years. Eight years ago I was put out of work due to my health and I am now, permanently disabled. Prior to being put out of work, I worked as a Senior Auditor for a large Cardiology group. I have 2 children, a son and a daughter and one spoiled fur baby doggie. In my spare time away from my crafts, I enjoy quality family time, sitting on the beach, a good movie or a good novel.

Challenge #46 - Use Scallops

Hello Dies R Us Friends!
WOW!!!  Can you believe it is April 1st already?  
Where is the time going?
I guess who ever said 'time flies when you're having fun' was right!!!

Before I share our new challenge information with you, it is with great sorrow that I tell you Team B design team member  Leslie Miller has sadly stepped down from our design team.  We will certainly miss Leslie's amazing creations and wish her nothing but the best in your personal and crafting life!!  GOOD LUCK LESLIE!!
